BSCI is initiated by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) to implement a joint monitoring system for social standards and improve the fulfillment of social responsibility in the countries where suppliers are located for the retail industry, industry, and importers. BSCI requires companies to use the BSCI monitoring system in their production factories worldwide to continuously improve their social responsibility standards.
